Need a cool, low-impact exercise while working on cardiovascular health?
Water Aerobics involves your entire body without the interference (or pain) of gravity. It is considered by many health experts to be the ideal low-impact exercise.
Experienced patrons will tell you the 86-degree water feels cold... at first. After five minutes of class, the water feels as though it's warming up, and, by the time class is over, you're ready for a cool shower... even in wintertime. Bring your enthusiasm for fun and laughter, and don't try to overdo it.
All exercises are adaptable for those with little-to-no experience, and we provide the equipment. All you need to bring is your suit and towel. Water Aerobics is offered year-round.
Pay $5 cash or with credit card at the pool before class. It is advised that you arrive about 15 minutes early to ensure you get through the line before class begins. Also, the lifeguard staff is enormously appreciative of those who bring exact change!
