Our Pickleball Rules

1. In the event of an emergency, dial 9-1-1.

 

2. Failure to follow rules or directions may result in loss of privileges or other action. Beaufort County and local law enforcement reserves the right to remove anyone from the facility at any time. Local law enforcement has jurisdiction over our properties.

3. Pickleball is strictly prohibited on any tennis court or basketball court that has not been specifically designated for pickleball play.

4. Courts with lighting are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Courts without lighting are open from 7 a.m. to dusk. No loitering and no trespassing after hours.

5. Limit play to 1 hour if others are waiting. Organized events or services must be approved by Beaufort County. Reservations have priority over general public use.

​

6. Children 12 and under must always be accompanied by an adult.

​

7. Use of the courts are at your own risk and user must inspect court prior to use for any damage, uneven surfaces, debris, or objects on the court that may cause injury. Do not use when wet.

​

8. No sharp objects such as glass, metal, rocks, or debris allowed on the court. Please use trash containers.

​

9. Proper soft sole footwear is required.

​

10. Only pickleball shall be played on the courts where designated by Beaufort County for pickleball. Soccer, skateboard, inline skates, bikes, and motorized vehicles are prohibited unless for handicap accessibility purposes.

​

11. Pets, tobacco, drugs, alcohol, foul language, fighting, and weapons are prohibited.

​

12. Do not abuse net or other equipment.

​

13. Report any damages to Beaufort County at 843-255-6710.
