We are CLOSED on May 29 in observance of Memorial Day but the Alvin Settles Pool will be open.
Charles Lind Brown Recreation Center will remain closed until June 5.
The Burton Wells basketball gym and the Shell Point Park restrooms are closed until further notice.

60 & BETTER PROGRAM
Beaufort County Parks and Recreation is pleased to provide FREE & FUN senior activities at six locations spread throughout the county. The "60 & Better Program" runs year-round, Mondays - Fridays EXCLUDING HOLIDAYS that can be found here.
Registrations are being accepted now. Registration can be done online by clicking the green links below or by calling Eva Golis at 843-941-9265.
This program will provide a wide variety of rotating daily, weekly, monthly, and annual programs and events. They include Card Games, Table Games, Quilting, Dominoes, Coffee & Chat, Arts & Crafts, Scrapbooking, Line Dancing, Sit & Fit, Bingo, Yoga, Zumba, Tech Class, Be Well, Live Well, Wellness Checks, Bill Payment Workshops, as well as, Monthly Birthday Parties, a Thanksgiving Luncheon, a Christmas Luncheon, Picnics, Health Fairs, and Senior Beach Retreats.
Nutrition Program
Proper and adequate nutrition is of the utmost importance to healthy seniors. We offer two meal nutrition programs. They are:
1. Home Delivered Meals Service
2. Group Dining Service
Group Dining Service will be available at our centers daily and deliver meals once a week to seniors that qualify through the Lowcountry Council of Governments for the Home Delivered Meals Service. Call 843-473-3991 to find out if you qualify. Group Dining Transportation will also be provided for those who need assistance in getting to our community centers. This service will occur daily.
