Beaufort County Parks and Recreation is pleased to partner with Lowcountry Council of Governments and Sprenger Health Care Systems to provide FREE & FUN senior activities at eight locations spread throughout the county. Our program runs year-round, Mondays - Fridays EXCLUDING HOLIDAYS that can be found here.

This program provides a wide variety of rotating daily, weekly, monthly, and annual programs and events. They include Card Games, Table Games, Quilting, Dominoes, Coffee & Chat, Arts & Crafts, Scrapbooking, Line Dancing, Sit & Fit, Bingo, Yoga, Zumba, Tech Class, Be Well, Live Well, Wellness Checks, Bill Payment Workshops, as well as, Monthly Birthday Parties, a Thanksgiving Luncheon, a Christmas Luncheon, Picnics, Health Fairs, and Senior Beach Retreats.

Nutrition Program

Proper and adequate nutrition is of the utmost importance to healthy seniors. We offer two meal nutrition programs. They are:

1. Home-Delivered Meals Service
2. Group Dining Service

Group Dining Service will be available at our centers daily and deliver meals once a week to seniors that qualify through the Lowcountry Council of Governments for the Home Delivered Meals Service. Call 843-473-3991 to find out if you qualify. Group Dining Transportation will also be provided for those who need assistance in getting to our community centers. This service will occur daily.
