Deep water aerobics is the PERFECT mid-afternoon-pick-me-up-before-I-pick-up-the-kids class.
You'll be jamming out and toning up for less than that drink at the Starbucks drive-thru you've been abusing😁
This brand-new class starts Thursday, March 2 at 2pm at Bluffton Pool. Basic equipment is provided but you may bring your own noodle, floatation belt, water shoes, and gloves.
Your instructor, Cate Taylor, has 35 years of experience and brings her contagious enthusiasm to every class. The classes are 45 minutes long with warm-up, stretches, and high aerobic intensity.
Experienced patrons will tell you the 85-degree water feels cold... at first. After five minutes of class, the water feels as though it's warming up, and, by the time class is over, you're ready for a cool shower... even in wintertime.
Pay $5 cash or with credit card at the pool before class. It is advised that you arrive about 15 minutes early to ensure you get through the line before class begins. Bringing exact change also speeds up the line.
Instructor: Cate Taylor
$5.00 per class, per person
No experience is necessary but participants should be comfortable in water that is 5 feet, 6 inches deep.
