🧵✨ A Lost Art Worth Remembering

(Like cursive… but with thread.)

Once upon a time, knowing how to sew on a button or mend a hem was just… normal. 👚🪡

Now? It’s practically a forgotten language — and we’re bringing it back.

In this sweet, hands-on 2-class sewing series, youth ages 10–19 will learn the beautiful basics of hand sewing — practical stitches they can actually use in real life. Because being able to fix your own clothes isn’t old-fashioned… it’s empowering. 💪💕

🧶 What Students Will Do

Participants will:

  • Learn foundational hand-sewing stitches 🪡

  • Practice patience and creativity 🎨

  • Build confidence through a timeless life skill 🌟

  • Transform unwanted fabric into something new and meaningful ♻️

Students are encouraged to bring unwanted fabric (shirts, blankets, or anything with a story 💛). By the end of the sessions, they’ll have created a charming, upcycled project to take home.
