1. How do I sign up to play softball?

Create an account or sign into your existing account.

In the top left corner select “Programs” and then “Bluffton.”

Find your prefer league that ends in “PLAYER” and select the green “Register Now” button.

Fill out your information and select “Save.”

On the next page select “Go To Checkout.”

Accept and fill out all the waivers on the next two pages. The files will turn green when they are completed correctly. Once they are all green select “I Have Completed All Forms.”

On the next page select “Continue.”

The next page should state you have successfully completed checkout and you should receive an email with your registration confirmation.
2. When does registration end?
Team Registration ends March 31st Player registration ends May 1st. Participants that signed up before registration ends will be eligible to join a team throughout the regular season. No players will be allowed to sign up after May 1.
3. How do I sign up a team to play softball?

Enter your payment information, the select “Submit”. The softball fee is $450 and must be paid in full before the season.

On the next page select “Continue.”

Other registration options include registering at Buckwalter Recreation Center (905 Buckwalter Pkwy) paying with cash, card or check.
4. When do rosters have to be finalized?
Rosters are finalized before the 3rd week of play during the regular season. (May 1st ).
Silver: Rosters will be finalized at the conclusion of each team’s regular season game. No changes will be made to rosters for the playoffs.
5. When does softball start?
All Leagues: April 18th
6. What day and time does softball play?
Bronze - Mondays at 6:30pm and 7:30pm
Co-Ed - Tuesdays at 6:30pm and 7:30pm
Gold - Wednesdays at 6:30pm and 7:30pm
Silver - Thursdays at 6:30pm and 7:30pm
7. Where is softball played?
Games will possibly be played at:
Oscar Frazier Park (10 Recreation Ct, Bluffton)
Michael C. Riley Complex (185 Goethe Rd, Bluffton)
Old Barker Field (70 Baygall Rd, Hilton Head)
8. What if I do not have a team?
Email the league contact (Justin Petock, Email: justin.petock@bcgov.net) and explain your situation. The league contact will work with team contacts to find a team that fits your needs. If there are enough “Free Agents” the league contact may create a full team if everyone agrees to participate on the “Free Agent” team.
9. What equipment will I need?
Teams will need to provide identical numbered jerseys.
Teams will need to provide bats and gloves.
The league will provide softballs.
10. How can I avoid missing the Registration Period?
We send reminder emails to our subscribers. You can receive these by signing up on the form located on our homepage. These emails will say they are from Beaufort County. We also post numerous reminders of registration on our Facebook page. Be sure to follow it and check it often.
11. How can I become an official?
Our officials make $20-$30 per hour. Look at our Be An Official page.
