About the Trail - (meet us here at 10am)
Deer Bone Trail offers a unique blend of natural beauty and local history. In the 1970s, this area was at the center of an important balance between environmental preservation and development. Today, it stands as a protected space featuring approximately four miles of interconnected trails and firebreaks.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore a peaceful Lowcountry landscape while observing native plant life, including pondspice—a rare species established within the preserve.
