Why spend money on expensive memberships if you don't have to?

Beaufort County Parks and Recreation is pleased to serve and support the health and wellness of our Beaufort County employee workforce and their families. For the last several years, numerous employees have used these free perks that keep our county team moving and in good shape. Among these are free admission to our pools, gyms, weight rooms, and cardio rooms.

We have three basketball gyms available for open play when not in use for programming or functions:

We have four Pools in use for lap swim or open swim when not in use for programming or functions:

1. Alvin Settles Pool (outdoor, summer season only) see more information

3. Beaufort Pool (indoor, year-round) see more information

4. Bluffton Pool (indoor, year-round) see more information

Who qualifies to use these facilities free of charge?

​

Basketball Gyms are available to all adult employees and their dependents during the facility's normal business hours.

​

Pools are available to all adult employees and their dependents during the facility's normal business hours in a section of the pool that is not being utilized for programming. Dependents under the age of 13 are required to be with the adult employee or the spouse of the adult employee.

​

Cardio & Weight Rooms are available to all employees and their dependents over the age of 18 during the facility's normal business hours. Dependents under the age of 18 are required to be with the adult employee or the spouse of the adult employee and be a minimum of age 14.
