Teens need an affordable, convenient, and designated time and place to allow their minds to be cleared from the stress of experiencing the teen years. Yoga practiced in the home or at school just isn't going to offer the benefits that our recreation center can.
Regardless of experience, body type, or athletic ability, this class focuses on better breathing, core, stretching, and balance practices.

And don't worry - this is a drop-in class that has no monthly or annual commitments. Parents of participating students are welcome to attend class but should understand that the class is not focused on adults.
Gentle Yoga Stretch and Balance, Thursdays, 10:00 am - 11:15 am at Buckwalter Recreation Center
starting Thursday, March 17
Independent Instructor - Wendy Barrett

Gentle Yoga is performed at a slower pace, with less intense positions. It includes postures for stretch, strength and balance, and incorporates breathwork and meditation. No experience or flexibility is required. This class is appropriate for everyone.
