Submittal and completion of this form does not guarantee you a coaching position. Placement of coaches will be made by the Beaufort County Parks Recreation staff based on the number of participants registered and past coaching performance. Once approved to coach, you must complete the consent form online for a background check. Approval to coach with our organization is contingent upon the successful clearance of the background check. The background check consists of a criminal records check dating back indefinitely. A motor vehicle records check is not conducted as coaches are not to transport children. Parks and Recreation staff reserves the right to make final decisions on coaching determinations.
